Liz's job is all about helping Duet thrive as an organization. Her commitment is grounded in real-world experiences of the different shapes education can take, from teaching eighth graders in the South Bronx to helping Boston high school students prepare to become future leaders.
"I love building systems and helping Duet find ways to get better, bigger and stronger every day," Liz says. "We call this Kaizen — continuous improvement."
When she's not immersed in planning the next step for Duet, Liz finds literary escape in novels like The Goldfinch or Bel Canto or indulges in some bad-TV binge-watching with anything on Bravo.
