As a West Indian-American born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Aliesha’s identity and academic journey heavily inform how she conceptualizes her purpose. She has a passion for engaging in person-centered mentorship with regard for the whole person.
“Duet has been a perfect place for me to explore a new professional outlet for this passion, build relationships with students, and assist them in their completion of an undergraduate degree.”
In her spare time, she can be found at home with her pet cat Sparks, coordinating social events for Black Boston folk, or feeding her creative spirit in the dance studio.
