Jolleen joined Duet after working in various roles in K-12 and post-secondary education - teacher, tutor, college admissions consultant, and high school counselor. As a "Third-Culture Kid" and 1.5 generation immigrant, she is passionate about supporting students with diverse backgrounds and identities in their educational journeys.
“I immigrated to the US after graduating from high school abroad, so I have had a non-traditional pathway through community college, university, and graduate school. I have definitely benefited from coaching and mentoring in the past, so I am excited about supporting students like me through Duet's innovative and flexible model of higher education coaching. I want students to experience success in college in a way that works for them and their busy lives.”
When not at Duet, Jolleen works on her hobby of collecting hobbies: calligraphy, video games, tarot, paddleboarding, a capella singing, cat-sitting, and so much more!
